Fête de Marquette is one of Madison’s premier summer festivals, bringing world-class music, incredible food, and community celebration to the city’s East Side. Hosted by the Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center, this free, family-friendly event transforms McPike Park into a lively gathering with refreshing drinks, local vendors, and activities for all ages.
While rooted in the spirit of Bastille Day, Fête has grown into a celebration of music and culture from around the world. Festival stages feature an eclectic mix of sounds, from Cajun and New Orleans-style music to Irish, Latin, African, blues, rock, and beyond. The Moon Stage brings even more energy with a lineup of DJs and electronic dance music that keeps the crowd moving throughout the weekend. There’s always something new to discover, with music filling the park and dance floors coming alive across the festival grounds.
