Síle Shigley plays a wide selection of traditional and new folk music, including Americana, bluegrass, acoustic blues, Celtic and Nordic, with frequent highlights from Wisconsin artists.

 

The Kissers

The Kissers bring a fresh, original kick to Celtic music. Forged during legendary Monday nights at Madison’s O’Cayz Corral, and honed through 1000 nights on the road, their sound blends sharp musicianship, black humor and the lilt and lyricism of the ancient melodies. Rock musicians who learned Irish music, The Kissers explore the roots of that tradition while retaining their own unique essence.

 

Brendan Forrest

Brendan “B” Forrest is an award-winning Americana Artist coming to the Fest from rural southwest Colorado. He and his band have released a new acoustic project consisting of seasoned veterans: Seán Carolan (founding member of jamband Mungion, Trinity Irish Dance) on upright bass, and Ben Zorn (of River Valley Rangers) on fiddle and mandolin with John Lennon Songwriting competition winner Forrest on flatpicking guitar, and vocals. They will be joined by multi award winning recording artist and performer, C-Bob Elliot on banjo and world touring percussionist Steven Rutledge on drums.
